Furniture Donation Instructions

We no longer pick-up furniture donations. We do not accept large china cabinets or TV storage units due to space limitations and the inability to sell.  We may decline large items if our furniture room is at capacity or if the item(s) are not in good condition to sell.

Before donating: Please send your name, contact number and pictures of the item(s) to contact@dittonj.org.  Pictures must be clear enough, with proper lighting, so that we can zoom in on fabric and wooden surfaces to assess their condition.

Once approved, the item(s) will need to be dropped off. Please have help to bring the item(s) into the furniture showroom.  When you arrive, go to the donation door to request a manager to assist in receiving your donation.

A tax receipt will be provided for all items accepted.

Are there certain hours that donations are received?

YES!  Donations are received between 10am and 4pm Tuesday through Saturday.  If our donation center is beyond capacity, we may close the donation center early if necessary.

PLEASE DO NOT leave donations outside the Donation Doors after hours.
